We had the opportunity to explore a bit of Havana on a recent trip to Cuba. The city is full of history, beautiful architecture, the friendliest of people, while appearing rough on first glance. Meeting our good friend Nathan and new Cuban friend Dennis we found great restaurants, average beer, and delicious food as we took in the time capsule that is Havana. The island pace of life, the perfectly warm weather and the renewed appreciation for our freedom made this a memorable trip. Pictures are better than words but we both wish that we could have spent more time in this historic and very welcoming city.
Well we had one incredible year of travel over the latter half of 2018 and the first of 2019. We will continue to use this to post on other places we find ourselves lucky enough to explore as part of our return to normal life.
