Day 59 - Quebec City

After a quick breakfast we set out for the short drive to Montmorency Falls.  We hiked down and back up the 487 stairs to see the falls that are 30m taller than Niagara.  It was a warm day but the exercise felt good, and the mist was refreshing when we did walk through it.

Conveniently our AirBnb was located between the falls and Quebec so we stopped in cleaned up, made lunch and headed for Levis the city across the St. Lawrence from Quebec.  We parked about a mile from the ferry terminal and enjoyed the views across the river as we made our way to the ferry that would take us into Old Quebec city and offer some pretty views as we approached.

We spent the next several hours wandering around Old Quebec city, the plains of Abraham, and stopping at a couple breweries that are scattered around.  Tori enjoyed Noctem brewing's cat theme, while Scott enjoyed the beer more at La Barbarie.  The walking tour continued until the sunset and we made our back across the river and drove home for the night.
