After making some breakfast and leaving the very cute airbnb we hopped on the Metro (subway) and ventured to old town Montreal. After a fabulous iced coffee and a couple miles of walking around the old town we hopped back on the Metro destined for the bottom of Mount Royal. Hopping off the subway we climbed several hundred steps up to the viewing point on top of the famous hill. Views of the city were enjoyed, and we climbed back down the stairs, across the McGill campus, to our lunch destination, Mandy's salad bar.
We continued our tour of Montreal for a couple more hours and then returned to our car to make the couple hour drive to Ottawa. Arriving with a bit of time before heading to our hosts for the next two days we took a short driving tour. We drove past the Prime Minister's residence, as well as the house of the Governor General. Following along past Parliament, through downtown and out to a park along the Ottawa River.
The night was wrapped up with a couple drinks on Elgin street with Sean, and capped with Tori enjoying the attention of a kitten that was wandering around Josh and Tiara's neighbourhood.
