England Day 3 - Touring a bit of the Cotsworth

The weather was supposed to be better today but the rain continued through the majority of the morning.  This gave us little hurry to venture out but we managed to get over to Clive's berry farm around lunch time and do some strawberry picking.

From the farm we drove over to another National Trust property and wandered through the very expansive gardens at Hidcote Manor Garden.  Once again we enjoyed a simple lunch at the trust property and then hopped back in the car.

We headed further into the Cotsworth stopping in the town of Chipping Campden.  We explored some of the towns shops and found a nice spot for afternoon tea.  The weather was cloudy as we left the town but we still took our chances to stop and see the Broadway tower.  The fog gave it an eery effect but it was still worth the small detour to see it.

We drove back into town and Ian hurried off to his Cello building class while Syl treated Tori and I to a very good Indian meal.  We finished the evening watching slides from Ian and Syl's world travel 47 years ago.  It was incredible to see the differences and similarities of places that we have all traveled to.  Another wonderful day with Ian and Syl.
