Thailand Day 10 - Bus to Pai, Bamboo Bridge, Pai Canyon

Breakfast was enjoyed yet again at our hotel in Chiang Mai.  Our bags packed we head to the bus station for the joy of a van ride through the 762 curves on the highway to Pai.  About half way through the 3 hour journey the lady behind because a victim of motion sickness.  Thankfully she was the only one and she managed to contain it to the bags that were provided on every seat.

Upon arrival and settling in to our hotel for the next few nights we ventured out and found some lunch.  We then hired a guide to take us to see the Bamboo Bridge and Pai Canyon.  Bamboo Bridge was a very enjoyable walk across approximately 1 mile of a raised bamboo boardwalk through a valley that was full of rice fields.

With the walk across the bridge completed we returned to our guide who took us further down the road to see Pai Canyon.  We hiked a little bit along the edge of the canyon and hoped for a pretty sunset but that was ruined by passing clouds.

We were dropped back off in town and explored the walking street and some food for dinner.
