After breakfast we went and collected our laundry. We set out across Chiang Mai on route to China Town. Along the way we stopped at a couple more temples, temples are everywhere and pretty much any walk in any part of Thailand they are unavoidable. We poked around in the shops in Chinatown before crossing the Ping River for a Snack at the Good View restaurant that overlooks the river. Eventually we headed back to the hotel where met a private driver who was taking us out of the city and up the mountains to see a couple more temples. The more famous of the two, Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep, offers views overlooking the entire valley as well as an immaculate collection of buildings and rooms. Wat Pha Lat was less flashy though still a very cool site to see as it was hidden on the hillside.
