Argentina Day 15 - Humahuaca

Once again we were on a bus to a neighboring town.  This bus was pretty much a city bus that stopped to pick people up and drop people off what seemed like every kilometre or two.  Eventually we arrived in humahuaca which sits at roughly 12000 feet above sea level.  We ventured into town and stumbled across local carnival celebrations.  For a couple hours we took in the festivities including tori getting chased by a couple of young boys spraying foam.

We continued our walk through town, past the square and old clocktower, winding up at the base of the independence monument.  A very cute little town with many restaurants and shops to explore.  We found dinner at a small restaurant in a hotel that served authentic food in a very pretty setting.
