We took our time checking out of the hotel and caught a cab to the bus station. The bus station in La Paz was one of the prettiest we visited in South America and the structure designed by Gustaf Eiffel over a century ago is revered by locals. We bought tickets to Copacabana and passed the next hour or so eating a simple lunch at the bus stop restaurant. We arrived to Copacabana on the edge of Lake Titicaca in the late afternoon and walked around town a bit. Scott ventured down by the water to photograph the sunset before we headed out to dinner.
