Malaysia Day 3 - On to Kuala Lumpur - SEAsia Day 68

We were back on a bus again today headed for Kuala Lumpur the thriving capital of Malaysia.  Upon arriving we felt a bit trapped in the hotel room as it rained continually for a couple of hours.  Eventually we called a grab (Asia's Uber equivalent) and headed to the Central Market an indoor shopping market.  A coffee there and some touring through the shops was a good way to stay out of the rain but not feel like we were not seeing any of the city.  The rain slowed a bit and we walked a couple blocks to the famous chinatown street market known as Petaling Street.  The street is mostly covered from the rain and there are many stores and small restaurants that can provide cover if the weather turns.  Randomly we ended up in a store that offered a free photo museum title "Lost in Chinatown".  This exhibit featured photos of china towns from around the world, photos of famous people, and a variety of photos taken around Malaysia.  A very cool spot and worth spending up to an hour exploring.

We took another $2 grab back to the hotel and found a spot for dinner a street over.  Our expectations were low but the food was very tasty.  For the first time in Asia we had to do our own laundry - most places offer cheap laundry service - so we hung out at the laundromat with a handful of other tourists whilst our clothes cleaned.
