Vietnam Day 20 - Rainy Day in Nha Trang - SEAsia Day 46

Arriving at 5am to Nha Trang we dropped our bags at the hotel and headed down to the beach to watch the sun come up.  Eventually we found some breakfast and then found our way back to the hotel for an early check in.  We slept for a couple hours to try and make up for the poor sleep we had on the bus, and then wandered around the block to da Fernando an Italian restaurant. By the time we finished lunch the rains from a Typhoon had started and we decided to head to a coffee shop as our plans for a day at the beach were thwarted.  Eventually we returned to the hotel.  Scott walked through the rain about a mile over to check out the gallery of a local photographer.  Long Thanh has been taking photographs in Vietnam for over 40 years and has a houseful of emotional, black and white, images that are unique in composition, subject, and tone.  He is a very welcoming man and the only regret is not having more time to listen to his stories.

The rain continued on and worsened throughout the evening.  We got soaked finding a place for dinner, and returned to the hotel earlier than most nights.
