Chile Day 17 - Paso to Grey

The pain and suffering of the previous two days was rewarded with magnificent scenery and beautiful weather today.  Not in a rush we took our time leaving camp el paso and were happy to be carrying mostly dry belongings.  The day started with a quick climb to a viewpoint where we got our first non weather affected views of Grey Glacier.  We took in the beauty of this spectacular bit of nature for a while before continuing on our hike.  The trail continued along a ridge for the majority of the day and we watched as the glacier came to a cliffed ending into the laguna named likewise.  The trail occasionally ducked back into the woods and took us across 3 suspension bridges, ranging in height from 30 to 160 feet. The beauty of the day was amplified as we setup camp in a small meadow at the bottom of a hill and watched the sun light up the tops of the peaks.  Scott, Jared, and Kieran ventured down to laguna Grey where Jared braved the cold waters dunking himself in.  Scott and Kieran ven
