Our flight landed about an hour early in Santiago and we quickly passed through immigration and caught a bus to Santiago where we changed busses and drove over the coastal mountains arriving in Valparaiso around 9:30 AM. Thankfully we were able to check into our hostel and we were soon on our way to find some breakfast. Several closed restaurants later and we found some tortas, fried eggs, toast with avocado and coffee. We spent the next several hours exploring the historical part of the town, the neighborhood Cerro Concepcion, hoping we haven't ruined our walking tour scheduled for tomorrow.
