Chile Day 7 - More Santiago

Once again we ventured to the Bolivian Embassy.  After waiting for about an hour (less than the previous effort) we were able to successfully start the visa process.  The convoluded endeavor next involved us heading across to a mall to deposit the payment at a bank before returning to prove payment was made and drop off the forms and passport for processing.  In the sky mall across the street there was an LATAM travel agency.  Kieran was able to sort out the remaining details of his flight while we dealt with the second leg of the visa process.  The errand took most of the morning and we took the advice of a blogger and ate at Take A Wok in the fancy food court of the sky mall.  The various noodles we enjoyed were delicious but our thirst had begun.  We wandered over to Flannery's Irish Brewpub and ordered a round of drinks.  Their american IPA was on par with some of the top beers in Seattle, a very welcome surprise!  With our tongue's wet we jumped back on the metro and then an Uber eventually arriving at Vina Cousino Macul, a winery dating back to the mid 1800's.  We opted for a tour and tasting, and were very happy to learn about the history and tour the large and cool cellars.  Amazingly these cellars have survived massive earthquakes over their century plus of existence.  As with most tours we made new friends.  We ended up closing down the winery shortly after 6pm before returing to the city centre.  In the evening we met up with our British and Swiss friends a couple hours later and imbibed with them until the restaurant closed.  We said goodbyes and made our way to Pepperland a happening beer bar near our hotel.  Completing the hattrick we enjoyed beers until this bar closed shortly after 2.  A first for all of us to close down 3 establishments in one night.

Unfortunately there are less photos from today and tomorrow due to being sold a scam of an sdcard on wish.com  Lesson for all if its too good of a deal to be true, its probably not a good deal.
