Argentina Day 4 - Last day in Buenos Aires

We packed up our bags and left them at the hotel while we explored Buenos Aires for one more day.  Once again we failed to get churros at the famous cafe as for some unknown reason they were closed for a second day in a row.  Instead we again got coffee elsewhere before wandering around the area until we returned for our tour of Teatro Colon.  While we walked around we passed a huge protest that was complaining about unfair low wages paid to many people in Argentina.  The contrast between the protest and the beauty of the theatre was interesting.

We hopped on the subway and made our way to a famous authentic Argentinian leather shop.  This store, Arandu, is three levels of cowboy, polo, and handcrafted top quality Argentinian goods.  An interesting walk through but out of our traveling budget.  Continuing through our authentic Argentinian places we stopped at the very old pizza shop La Cuartito for lunch.  A few slices of very doughy, very cheesy pizza were had which was enough to fuel us for our long walk over to and through the large ecological area adjacent to the city.

Wrapping up our time in Argentina we found a pub for dinner before returning to the hotel to grab our bags.  One last uber over to the bus station and we caught our very comfortable night bus to Cordoba.
