Leaving Chile Arriving in Buenos Aires

Chile day 29 feb 22

We took a bus back to Santiago midday and then relaxed before finding dinner at another Peruvian Restaurant.  The day ended early knowing we had to be up at 4 to catch our flight to Buenos Aires.

Argentina day 1 feb 23

We were up at 4 and soon after in an Uber to the airport.  The Uber driver was seemingly angry at anything that moved in the streets which added some entertainment to the otherwise  boring 25 minute drive to the airport.  It was raining when we arrived in Buenos Aires so we hung out at the hotel for a while.  Eventually we grew hungry and ventured around the corner for some famous milenasa sandwiches.  The rain continued so we returned to the hotel for a nap before eventually leaving again and checking out the Plaza Galeria mall which is set in a very old building creating a unique shopping experience.  From the mall we took the metro to Palermo Soho a very trendy neighborhood that despite the less than ideal weather was quite lively.  We had a couple happy hour beers at Boca a Boca before arriving at Bellagamaba Bodegon for dinner.  Tori didn't like the food and neither of us liked the wine which really didn't matter as the entire meal with a bottle of wine cost 5 USD. On the wander back to the metro we stumbled past a famous Argentinian craft brewer, Antares.  A couple more beers were had before getting an Uber back to the hotel.  DJ got a call from us for his birthday and we enjoyed talking with Diane, Syl, Darryl, Kerri and Stephanie who were all visiting.
