Argentina Day 5 - Cordoba

Far more rested than after any over night bus in Asia we arrived decently rested at 7:30AM in Cordoba.  We found a breakfast spot midway between the bus terminal and the airbnb where we had some coffees and the ever present media da luna, a lightly syruped croissant.  It turns out that breakfast is not very important in Argentina and generally consists of a couple pastries and coffee.  We would add eggs to this breakfast whenever possible which was rare.

After breakfast we checked into our airbnb a very nice 1 bedroom apartment in the heart of the revitalized Guemes neighborhood.  We took showers and napped for a little bit before heading out into the historic part of Cordoba.  Some of the famous sites we saw in the Jesuit mission area of cordoba included the Catedral de Cordoba, The Palacio de Justicia, the Espacio Caseros market, and the Cabildo de Cordoba.  A very historic and beautiful part of the city we enjoyed the warm sunshine and some ice cream as we wandered around.

Eventually we returned found dinner in a fabulous little courtyard that was decorated with hanging lights and candles.
