Day 31 - Grand Tetons day 2

Mid morning we set out on a hike to amphitheatre lake which is about midway up the middle teton.  Just over 2 hours later we had climbed over 3000 feet and 5 miles to the lake.  The lake was above the snow line and the breeze across its partially frozen waters kept us from spending much time soaking in the views.  We walked down about a mile, made lunch, impressed a few people with our small hiking stove and ramen.

Finishing the hike we headed to the shower and laundry facility.  After a refreshing but expensive shower - really Grand Teton why is the shower 4.25 per person - we did our laundry.  Exciting as this is we managed to get mostly caught up with sorting photos we had taken and reading emails we had missed.

A nice campfire was had on the cool evening and we spent our last night in a tent for the next little while.
