Day 37 - 39 - Kelowna

We woke up early having packed the car the night before and headed on the 10 hour journey to Kelowna.   The drive was uneventful, with increasingly pleasant scenery as we worked our way deeper into the Rocky mountains.

After dropping off Tori at the bachelorette party, Scott had intentions of heading up into the mountains for a weekend of backpacking.  Thunderstorms for 4-5 hours prevented that and Scott used the free time to checkout a couple Kelowna breweries before spending the night at the trailhead.

The weather improved by the morning and Scott sweated his way up the Divide trail in Okanagon Mountain Park.  Meanwhile, Tori went wine tasting with Morgan's bachelorette contingent, enjoying the sounds of Mackelmore on the van that toured their group around.

Reaching Divide Lake a few hours later Scott setup camp, took a swim in the lake to cool off, and passed out in the hammock for a few hours.  Later, on he walked the final 3/4 of a mile to the summit of Okanagan mountain only to be less than thrilled with the subpar view.

Tori had another fun night out with girls and Scott enjoyed time around the campfire with a handful of others who had made their way up to Divide Lake for the night.  Morning came and Scott made his way back down the trail to collect the car, then Tori, and then find their way back to Montana for the night.
