Day 42 - 44 - arriving in Sarnia and then the drive east

The sun rose as we passed Chicago, stopping a couple hours later for breakfast at Cafe 339, Hobart, Indiana.  We drove the final 4 and a half hours to Sarnia, arriving to lunch in the camper around the corner from home as a potential buyer was viewing the house.  The inconvenience proved worthwhile as those viewers put in an offer that was accepted.

After a couple of hours with DJ and Diane, Tori went to dinner with Diane and a group of her friends.  Meanwhile DJ and Scott sipped on a couple of beers and enjoyed the burgers at Refined Fool brewing.  Afer the burgers a couple hours of table tennis were played with some of Sarnia's best.

The following day was a relaxing one, sleeping in, going for a run, and discussing different things about the upcoming move.  After a nice chicken dinner the four of us went to Refined Fool for a couple beers and some friendly competition over the game of Yahtzee.  Tori's double Yahtzee bonus was the difference maker as Scott and Tori defeated DJ and Diane by a slim margin.

Another early morning, bags were packed, and goodbyes said as Scott and Tori headed for another long day on the road with the destination a KOA not far from Acadia National Park.  The drive will cover 700 miles and take them across Southern Ontario, Upstate New York, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and a good chunk of Maine.  NY tolls feel like a scam, but Mass isn't much better, New Hampshire, and Maine tagged along in the toll game as well.

After what felt like an eternity on the road, passing several accidents on the opposite side of the highway but getting slowed down considerably by those with rubber necks.  Thankfully we were not one of the many who were at an indefinite standstill going the opposite direction.
