We spent the morning relaxing at our resort before hiking over to a neighboring resort and getting a boat ride into the main beach on the island. We explored the long beach, swung in hammocks over the water, and had lunch at one of the restaurants before returning to our resort for dinner. Tori had a great surprise finding a large gecko in the restroom upon our return. In the evening we joined a tour that took a boat out into the bay and away from any lights so that we could experience the bioluminescent plankton. These plankton light up when the water is rapidly stirred near them. It is a wonderful sight to see but nearly impossible to capture on camera or go pro.
