Thailand Day 12 - Back to Bangkok - SEAsia Day 106

Our alarms went off at the ungodly hour of 3:30 am and we were picked up by a taxi at 4 for our 6 am flight from Krabi to Bangkok.  Everything went off without a hitch and we were soon in a cab on route to our hotel.  Arriving before 10 am we did not think we would be able to check in but to our surprise we were.  We dropped off our bags, cleaned up a bit and then found a delicious breakfast about a half hour walk from the hotel.  We explored the neighborhood a bit and then found a place to get a haircut.  Tori's ask for a trim resulted in 6 inches being taken off, and Scott's cut was ok.  Grand total of less than 15 dollars for two cuts and washes was pretty good.

We grabbed a grab over to China town and made our way through the many vendors selling all kinds of goods stopping for lunch at the hidden but delicious Hong Kong noodle.  After lunch we continued through more shops and finished a lot of the necessary souvenir shopping, happy to have not carried around souvenirs for the past 3 months.  Our walking continued as we followed google maps over to Khoasong road where Tori wanted to collect another sundress or two.

Having several weeks on the beach we got pedicures for about five dollars each and were appalled by the amount of dead skin that was scraped off our feet.  The day was growing old and our hunger was back again so we found some dinner and then returned to our hotel.  Another day with nearly 10 miles of walking completed.
