We caught a bus at 4:30am to take us to Varna a fairly large city on the coast of the Black Sea in Bulgaria. The border crossing was smooth and we were happy to not have to leave the vehicle. We switched to another for the final couple hours of the trip and arrived as scheduled shortly before 9am. We grabbed a coffee waiting for a currency exchange to open before we could catch a taxi to the core of the city. We continued our slow morning by getting an early lunch by the ferry port as we waited for checkin time at our accommodation. After a nice lunch we were able to check in and took a nap for a couple hours.
Well we had one incredible year of travel over the latter half of 2018 and the first of 2019. We will continue to use this to post on other places we find ourselves lucky enough to explore as part of our return to normal life.
