We caught a mid morning train to the town of Venlo and checked into a cute little airbnb near the city centre. Scott went for a run as the sun was shining and the flat sea level landscape seemed appealing for a first run in a few months. Venlo is not a town that is not typically visited by tourists but was located conveniently near the german border allowing us to meet up with a German friend who we had met in South America. Some dinner and drinks were had as well as a pretty walk through the towns streets.
