Netherlands Day 8 - Utrecht

Once again we caught a train mid morning and we were soon in the very cool town of Utrecht.  This city has the feeling of Amsterdam without the throngs of tourists.  We wandered through many of the streets taking in the views of the canals, the churches, and a windmill that has managed to survive in the middle of the town.  In the evening we had dinner and drinks with a lovely Dutch couple who we had met when we were in Vietnam over half a year ago.  We discussed our trip and gave them our tips on Bali as they were flying out the following evening for an apparently much needed vacation.  They continued to provide us with many tips on the Netherlands which was very helpful throughout our time in the country. Our drinks took us to a very interesting beer hall that was once a church.  It seemed fitting that a place meant for the gathering of people was once again being used for that purpose.
