We started off the day visiting the Basilica of Our Lady of Copacabana. This cathedral was built in the 16th and is a very large and impressive complex. After exploring the cathedral we found a spot for lunch and then setup an island tour for the following day as well as busses two days later. In the afternoon we hiked up one of the hills next to the town and took in the views over the lake and the city. We met a couple from Singapore on the hike and spent a couple of hours hanging out on a waterfront bench enjoying a cold one.
