Day 7
We wandered the streets of Sighisoara in the morning and Scott went up the clocktower. We enjoyed a large buffet breakfast at a local hotel for less than 25 dollars which and then caught a bus to the city of Sibiu. We explored the main areas of Sibiu and watched the sunset behind the bridge of lies. Dinner was had at a cool little restaurant in the cellar of an old building. We have eaten way too much food in this country.
Day 8
Our alarms went off at 6 and we were at the train station by 6:45 to catch a train scheduled for shortly after 7. Upon arriving we found out that due to a track issue the train had to be detoured and would arrive around 9. At 9:45 the train finally arrived and we left for Bucharest shortly after. We arrived in Bucharest around 3:30 and then spent the next hour trying to sort out our bus for the following day. By the time we checked into our hotel we were exhausted and managed enough time to get out for dinner and a short walk. With our bus scheduled for 4:30 am we made it an early night.
