Once again we enjoyed the hotel breakfast buffet before our first activity. We met our guide and did a bicycle tour through a few neighborhoods in Lima. We visited some other areas of Barranco that we had not discovered the day before as well as a large section of Miraflores. Our guide gave us his very matter of fact opinions on Peruvian politics which was a hot topic while we were visiting as their recently ousted corrupt former president had shot himself a day prior to avoid a life sentence.
Following the bike ride Tori and Mandy wanted to do some shopping so we wandered aimlessly around a shopping center for about an hour. In the afternoon we caught a cab to the downtown core and walked from Plaza San Martin to Plaza de Armas. Eventually we returned to miraflores and had a couple beers at Lupulo craft beer bar while the girls had their hair cut.
