Greece Day 13 - More exploration of Paros

We were back on the quad again today.  Once again our first stop was at a beach.  We found a beach set at the bottom of a cliff and had the entire place to ourselves for a few hours.  Relaxed, tanned and a bit hungry we drove into Naousa and stopped at the century old Moraitis winery.  After a self guided walk through the small museum and the barrel rooms we enjoyed a very memorable tasting experience.  The sommelier was very detailed and gave us a history of each grape, where they are grown, when they are harvested before diving into the details of each wine we tasted.  After trying 6 we were most happy with the Sillogi White (ended up buying a bottle to have the hotel) and the Paros Red.  Scott would have been happy to have been able to bring a couple bottles of the Paros reserve home, but lugging wine bottles around for the next 6 weeks doesn't sound appealing.

Following the wine tasting we headed to the waterfront and core of Naousa.  The marina sits directly in front of the town and walking along its docks offered very nice views of the city.  We then explored a couple of the streets, getting stopped briefly for a candid photo shoot, before finding dinner at Mediterraneo.  From our table we watched the sun set over the marina and the peninsula we had hiked the day prior.  We wandered down a few more streets after dinner before driving back across the island and calling it a night.
